Vida Humana Internacional Launches New Website for Hispanic Youth!

We all know the many attacks against our children, adolescents and young people today, especially in the area of human sexuality. The media and today’s social environment in general are saturated with immorality. Hedonistic sex "education" programs, both in the U.S. and abroad, add an ideological and a false authoritative component to the moral and spiritual harm that our youth is suffering today. International and powerful anti-life organizations offer our children web sites that promote contraception, homosexuality and explicit and immoral sexual misinformation.

From a more positive perspective, Pope John Paul II himself has asked Catholics to use Internet as an instrument for the evangelization of youth. The Pope recognized the complex and difficult world in which young people live today, characterized by new communication technologies. These technologies often model behavior in a negative way. For these reasons the Holy Father has asked Catholics to take advantage of the media, and in particular of Internet, to reach the young with the message of the Gospel and with positive values.

Responding to the peril in which young people today find themselves and to the call the Pope has made, Vida Humana Internacional (VHI) has decided to give the youth a positive alternative by launching a new web site in Spanish called "Sólo para jóvenes" ("Just for the youth"), at http://www.soloparajovenes.org. This new website is dedicated to the promotion of Christian values, especially chastity. In it, young people will find the opinions of famous persons in favor of sexual abstinence and life; reasons to live chastely; information on "secondary virginity"; how to say no to sex before or outside marriage; how to distinguish true love from a counterfit; the moral teachings of the Catholic Church and the Bible; and much more!

The web site http://www.soloparajovenes.org is the result of a collaborative effort between Mr. J. T. Finn and VHI. Mr. Finn is the author of the beautiful pro-chastity, pro-life website http://www.Lovematters.com . VHI translated into Spanish most of the text of that website and included additional information from its own website.

We wholeheartedly recommend that you visit this new website and tell others about it, especially Hispanic parents, youth groups and those adults who work with them.
